One-way

Uni-directional Interfacing

Test parameters are set manually on the analyzer. Once the analysis is complete, the machine pushes result data packets over a Serial COM (RS232) or TCP/IP connection to our middleware.

  • Manual selection of tests directly on the analyzer interface.
  • Analyzer processes the blood or urine sample.
  • Middleware captures the output data string automatically.

Two-way (Full Auto)

Bi-directional Interfacing

Highly automated barcode-driven data exchange. The analyzer queries the middleware for ordered tests using sample barcode IDs, performs only those specific tests, and submits results back automatically.

  • Sample barcode is scanned by the analyzer.
  • Analyzer queries LIMS middleware for ordered test profile.

Unidirectional interfacing is one-way communication where the analyzer sends test results to the computer. Bidirectional interfacing is two-way communication where the system queries patient worklists based on barcodes and programs the tests automatically, then sends results back.
